With a degree in Engineering, Sunil Lala attended the Boston University campus at Brussels before receiving his masters in Computer Information Systems from the main campus in Boston, Massachusetts. He currently works as a senior IT consultant at MIT Lincoln Labs.

Interested in screenwriting and filmmaking, he produces and directs a program for public access television called The Naked Truth which is a thirty minute commentary, as well as a video blog which is watched by nearly 50,000 people globally. He has been an online columnist for a leading Indian newspaper, The Hindustan Times, and lives in Massachusetts with his wife and daughter.
